Droogz Droogz at the Duke of Wellington, Stanwick - Tonight 11th April - Free Entry

Looking forward to this one after playing at the King William IV at Fenstanton on Wednesday. We were really too big for that pub in hindsight. Don't mean that in an egotistical sense more rather the kind of music Droogz play and the attitude that goes with it. The King Bill is more suited to a gentle, laid-back, acoustic atmosphere. Droogz are not that! ;-) Continue

Droogz The Bell, Sawtry - February 22nd 2008

I'd not been to the Bell before so it was a pleasant surprise to find out how much they enojy their music there. It was also Droogz' second gig and an opportunity to get some valuable live playing exeprience in. We were perhaps a bit more relaxed this time and think it showed in our approach. Sound-wise I think we had it just about right too...certainly we had enough positive feedback from friends there. We even managed to drop in a new song for the set, dropping one of the lesser favoured ones.… Continue

Droogz The Saddle, Kimbolton - 9th February

A good start for the Droogz. There might not be too many drummers that use an electronic drum kit live rather the more traditional acoustic one but we see this as a challenge. The beauty of this setup is that overall volume and balance can be controlled to a far greater degree than it would be using a more conventional setup.

Of course there were the usual technical issues to contend with, such as Ed the…
