First gig of 2010 and a new venue to boot ! The boys are appearing at the Bird In Hand,Beck Row Mildenhall,Suffolk. This famous old pub situated right beside the RAF Mildenhall base . Its a lovely venue and should be a good night !!

- Taildragger Blues Band is one of cambridgeshires favourite blues acts,renowned for it's exciting mix of original and classic blues material,all delivered with that explosive and unique "taildragger" sound.line up mike smith(vocals and guitar)TJ(guitar)Ivan Eley(Bass)Sam Carter(drums).
the band was formed 14 years ago as most outfits are...just for a bit of fun!! that soon changed as audiences around East Anglia and beyond soon discovered the "taildragger" brand of blues,a refreshing change from the standard pub blues band.
the band quickly gained both local and national acclaim from both blues critics and general music lovers alike with their live performances and the release of the bands first and only proper studio album to date "workin' up a storm".the band appeared at the prestigious colne and maryport blues festivals as well as playing with bands like paul lamb and the kingsnakes and the hoax.one of the highlights was recording a live gig with BBC Radio Suffolk as part of their suffolk blues programme,subsequently broadcast at a later date.
unfortunately the story ended there due to work commitments but after a five/six year hyatis the band returned in 2006. highlights included the cambridge rock festival,bullfest and a live session on the audio flies with jez sallis.due to health issues the band had to curtail gigs in late 2008 but will be back to full fitness in 2009 with new wisbech based drummer on board,Sam Carter. check out the website for more info and gig listings.For bookings please contact us via our website!!!
