Hi Kenny,
Good to hear from you, Downhome blues is a real cool song and it was good to hear a few other folks still playing it on youtube when i checked it out, was lovin the sound your getting from the Korg very close to the sound of a Hammond, I have posted some info up on www.myguitarspace.com under the Pedals blog about all the equipment that I use to produce my backing if you want to check it out. I also have a great affiliation and affection for the USA been there 5 times now and had a great time every trip, the Tanque Verde Horse Ranch outside Tuscon was something special plus all the bars in Bourbon St and a cool little blues bar I discovered up in Natchez, also had to do the tourist thing and go to see elvis's mansion and his grave, did the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crator, Red Rock Sedona way and route 66 and in my earlier days most of the eastern seaboard and the St John River used to go out with a chick from Conneticut. My current girlfriend is an artist and I now live up in Suffolk where it is a bit more peaceful away from all the traffic in London where I lived for the last 12 years. Ill check out that site you mentioned soon, been up myself all night practising so gonna shove off, b good to keep in tuch, have a great Xmas.
Hi Fella, Im sure it was your video that I spotted on youtube playing downhome blues and thought that the bar was in memphis ? anyhows welcome on to my friends page here at pubgigs.com it's always good to hear the blues played with an organ in the mix really adds to the sound, a great keyboard the Korg, I was using the old Kurzwiel 2500x but the buttons kept crapping out so recently got a Roland Fantom X8 which does the biz for me making up backing tracks for my oneman show, sometimes I go out with Lisa Beck another great jazz organist
if you want to connect, look forward to hearing more stuff from your band
Have a good festive season. regards Mickey
