Ade's musical influences were initially Queen, Status Quo and Iron Maiden then the guitar revolution came and people like Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert (Racer-X/Mr
Big), Jason Becker, Marty Freedman (Megadeth) and in particular Vinnie Moore, an instrumental guitarist.More recently, Ade has been drawn to the heavier side of
melodic rock, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Rage, Nightingale and favourite, Dream Theater whose guitarist, John Petrucci is absolutely awesome!!

Steve's musical influences include: Bruce Springsteen Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen & many many more

Chris's musical influences include: AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Rush, Ade Birkett, Black Sabbath, Cream, Paul Weller, Deep Purple, U2, Kinks, Hawkwind, Ade Birkett

Jeff's musical influences include: John Bonham. Ian Paice, Neil Peart , Steve Bartley & Taylor Hawkins

About Me:

We are BBGM: four 30-50 something musicians (twin guitars, bass and drums) who were all in various bands years ago, playing and touring all over the North West & Europe in the 1980’s including working and recording with the now legendary producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Counting Crowes, Feeder etc) and have got together form BBGM to gig again.

We are currently playing covers from the 70's 80's and 90's but throw in one or two original tracks. We couldn't do what we do without our trusty sound man and good friend Andy.
At the end of February 2010 original Bass Player Chris Green bowed out to take a paternity leave sabatical. Chris' shoes are filled by new bass man Karl Altdorfer. Karl once got drunk with Lemmy and has played in successful bands in his youth (a long time ago....) in the North East, supported Ian Gillan Band, Marillion, John Miles, Janick Gers, Heavy Metal Kids amongst others
